Club Outings

These are usually camping or outdoor driving activities. We book a trail on behalf of the Club and then drive it in convoy.

A “LET’S GO” outing may be announced on any day or weekend of the month.

Social Events

In order to go camping with people, its best to know them first, and what better way than a nice evening out with club members.

Points Events

These are fun drives where we set up an obstacle course and measure your performance over the obstacles.

    Dear Members,

    Our next Fun Dive will be at Ou Trekpad 4x4, in Melkbosstrand.

    The terrain consists of hard & soft sand, and reduced tyre pressures are recommended. There are technical obstacles, which may be bypassed at the driver's discretion.

    This is a great opportunity for newbies to get to know their vehicle on the obstacle course, and, to this end, our more experienced drivers will be at hand to help.

    After the drive, we will have a picnic lunch at the boma.

    Please note that NO DOGS are allowed at this venue!

    Venue: Ou Trekpad 4x4

    Date: Saturday 16th May 2025

    Directions (from almost anywhere):

    • From R27 or N7, turn onto the M19 (Melkbosstrand road), then turn left (ex R27) , or right (ex N7) onto R304 (Mamre road)

    • Turn left into Vaatjie Farm, GPS S33.68 E18.50

    • Once at the farm, follow the red arrows to the boma

    • or use Google Maps

    Time: Drivers' meeting at 10:00am

    Trail cost: R200 per vehicle (please bring exact change in cash)

    Lunch: Please bring a picnic lunch/snacks.

    Important Notes:

    • Only fully paid up members of the club will be allowed to participate in this event.

    • Vehicles taking part must be fitted with appropriate recovery points (front and rear).

    • Recovery Gear, including Recovery strap, Tyre repair kit, & Compressor.

    • Please do not litter: take all cigarette stompies and packaging, etc, away with you.

    • No dogs allowed!
